Projects / Workflow

• Workflow Rollover feature allows firms to quickly with ease create rollover workflows from year-to-year. Any workflow that has been created now can be selected, through a series of search filters, and rollover into the next year with a few selections criteria's.

• Respective data of the previous year can be automatically transferred to the next year or can be changed as desired. Workflow templates can be used in rollovers as well, which enables users to maintain consistency throughout all workflows.

• Features are incorporated for users to save parameters for the respective user account and easily retrieve a list whenever required. In addition, the Rollover feature is enhanced with UDFs (User Defined Fields), which are available for the users to select and add into the Workflow rollover tool. Once added, the rollover tool populates the fields with the values from the previous year, which allows users to easily and quickly rollover workflows with necessary data.

Portal

• Auto-generated password for Portal, now complies with the system password policy.

File Area & iCD

• Document security has been enhanced in the client File Area by not allowing to open files in direct mode (read-only access will be available) and in iCD (iChannelDesk), when the user’s security group is restricted edit access .

File Area

• File area and Document search results are sorted alphabetically without considering the case for easy reference of the users.

• Portal Requests’ can be created from File Area without selecting any file.

General

• Actual active subscriber count is displayed on the System Subscribers page.

• Email Document now provides a warning message when users are sending .zip files.
  ’Note - If you provide the password, enter the password, we recommended that you provide the password to the recipient via a secure method and the recipient will have to use a 3rd-party Zip software like 7Zip or WinZip to open the zip file since iChannel uses AES256bit encryption which is not supported by Windows Zip.'

• Users are now able to export file search results on the Files search tab either into a text file or to an excel file as required.

• New functionality of My Tasks and My Projects widgets is now enhanced to allow the user to filter records by selecting multiple Assigned Users , a new column is added with the respective user names in both widgets.

  • Same results are exported through the report icon.

• Previously, there was an issue when uploading requested files in Portal in responding to a Request List. Resolved

• Users would encounter an error message revolving around the File name lengths. This issue is now checked and verified when uploading files on the Portal. Resolved

• The client number is always displayed next to the client/entity name in Portal, making it easier to uniquely identify clients, specially when the clients are attached with multiple entities.

• Previously, users were not allowed to Publish and Link documents without an expiration date. Users are no able to perform either of these features now without the need of an expiration date.

• Once the portal password is reset via "Forgot Password" option, users are now required to change their password. Ensuring the security in accessing the Portal.

• Expanded the file uploading capacity in both internal iChannel system and portal, allowing to upload files exceeding size 200 MB .

• Access to locked files / files in restricted entities are blocked from File Search tab.

• Issue has been resolved with .pdf compressing and Cacompressor function. Now this functionality works when the documents are put back into Cacompressor that it checks them back into iChannel system. Resolved

• When a user drag and drop a file onto another file in the in the firm file area. The new file(s) are automatically added to the Parent category as defined on the source file. The Secondary category and file status as the already existing file.

• Resolved an issue when setting workflows into ‘Private’ mode when updating other fields. Now the workflow mode remains unchanged, unless it is specifically updated by users. Resolved

• Resolved an issues when adding contacts of entities to a projects/workflow. Now all the entities and contacts, which are not bind with a site also searchable and properly displayed for adding as primary/secondary contacts to projects. Resovled

• When a project/workflow is completed by checking the ‘Completed’ checkbox, the current date (today’s date) is considered as the completion date and displayed next to the completed status.

• When the ‘Completed’ checkbox is unchecked, the completion date is hidden.

Retention Module

• Resolved the functionality for “To Be Deleted Documents” search results in Retention module. Any documents marked for deletion in the System are displayed when search through the retention module with the flag to be deleted.

iCD

• Fixed the issues in sending email notifications, when publishing files. Now all the internal assigned users in the security group receive email notifications accordingly when files are published.
