About iChannel 2.20.10 version:

This version of iChannel system comes with several new updates and enhancements for the existing features along with fixes for the encountered issues in the previous versions. Smoother, faster, and feature-rich user experience will be ensured throughout the system and many upgraded UIs are incorporated for a better look and feel.

More details regarding the ‘New features’, ‘Enhancements’, and ‘bug fixes’ are included in the below sections for your reference.

 

 NEW FEATURES

What’s New

IC-5260

  • Workflow Rollover feature is fully functioning, enabling hazzle-free and easy rollover for workflows for next year.

IC-5716

  • Auto generated password for Portal, now complies with the system password policy.

IC-6185

  • Document security is improved by not allowing to open files in direct mode (read-only access will be avaialble) both in iChannel file area and in iCD, when the user’s security group is restricted edit access

IC-6225

  • File area and Document search results are sorted alphabetically without considering the case for easy reference of the users.

IC-6457

  • Portal Requests’ can be created from File Area without selecting any file.

IC-6190

  • Actual active subscriber count is displayed on the System Subscribers page.

 ENHANCEMENTS

What’s Upgraded

IC-3722

  • Respective UDFs (User Defined Fields) are available for the users to select and add into the Workflow rollover tool. Once added, the rollover tool populates the fields with the values from the previous year project, that allows users to easily and quickly rolloevr workflows wth necessary data.

IC-3728

  • Workflow rollover function allows users to save parameters for the respective user account and call them up from a list whenever required.

IC-6189

  • Email Document page is enhanced to educate users when sending Zip files, by adding the below warning message.
    ’Note - If you enter a password: Please communicate the password to the recipient via a secure method and the recipient will have to use a 3rd-party Zip software like 7Zip or WinZip to open the zip file since iChannel uses AES256bit encryption which is not supported by Windows Zip.'

IC-6379

  • Users are able to export file search results on the Files search tab either into a text file or to an excel file as required.

IC-6387

  • Functionality of My Tasks and My Projects Widgets is ehnaced to filter records by selecting multiple Assigned Users and new column is added with the respective user names in both the widgets.

    • Same results are exported through the report icon.

  • New email templates are introduced for below File Actions

    • Rename Title

 BUG FIXES

What’s Fixed

IC-6462

  • Fixed the issues in uploading requested files in Portal in responding to a Request List

IC-6431

IC-6327

  • Expanded the file uploadig capacity in both internal iChannel system and portal, allowing to upload files exceeding size 200 MB

IC-6423

  • Fixed the issues with pdf compressing and Cacompressor function, now it properly works when the documents are put back into Cacompressor that it checks them back into iChannel system.

IC-6412

  • Access to locked files / files in restricted entities are blocked from File Search tab.

IC-6403

  • Fixed the issues in misaligned File Area columns after updates, now all the updated columns are properly aligned in the widget.

    • Columns are flexible

    • Size of the columns are changeable via the Columns option
