About iChannel 2.20.10 version:

This version of iChannel system introduces the new Workflow Rollover tool and comes with several new updates and enhancements for the existing features along with fixes for the encountered issues in the previous versions. Smoother, faster, and feature-rich user experience will be ensured throughout the system and many upgraded UIs are incorporated for a better look and feel.

NEW FEATURES

Projects / Workflow	IC-5260 IC-3728 IC-3722	Workflow Rollover feature is fully functioning, enabling hassle-free and easy rollover for workflows for next year. All the respective workflows can be selected and rollover for next year with a single button click. Multiple search criteria are available to search through workflows. Respective data of the previous year can be automatically transferred to the next year or can be changed as desired. Workflow templates can be used in rollovers as well, which enables users to maintain consistency throughout all workflows. Features are incorporated for users to save parameters for the respective user account and call them up from a list whenever required. In addition to these, the Rollover feature is enhanced with UDFs (User Defined Fields), which are available for the users to select and add into the Workflow rollover tool. Once added, the rollover tool populates the fields with the values from the previous year, which allows users to easily and quickly rollover workflows with necessary data. Portal	IC-5716	Auto-generated password for Portal, now complies with the system password policy.
File Area & iCD	IC-6185	Document security is improved by not allowing to open files in direct mode (read-only access will be avaialble) both in iChannel file area and in iCD, when the user’s security group is restricted edit access
File Area	IC-6225	File area and Document search results are sorted alphabetically without considering the case for easy reference of the users.
File Area	IC-6457	Portal Requests’ can be created from File Area without selecting any file.
General	IC-6190	Actual active subscriber count is displayed on the System Subscribers page.

ENHANCEMENTS

File Area	IC-6189	Email Document page is enhanced to educate users when sending Zip files, by adding the below warning message. ’Note - If you enter a password: Please communicate the password to the recipient via a secure method and the recipient will have to use a 3rd-party Zip software like 7Zip or WinZip to open the zip file since iChannel uses AES256bit encryption which is not supported by Windows Zip.'
File Area	IC-6379	Users are able to export file search results on the Files search tab either into a text file or to an excel file as required.
File Area	IC-6456	New email templates are introduced for below File Actions Add Move Copy Rename Title Accept
Dashboard	IC-6387	Functionality of My Tasks and My Projects Widgets is ehnaced to filter records by selecting multiple Assigned Users and new column is added with the respective user names in both the widgets. Same results are exported through the report icon.

File Area	IC-6397	When files are drag and drop onto another file in the system, the added file automatically picks up same Parent category , Sub category and file status as the already exisitng file. IC-6397.mp4
File Area	IC-6389	Fixed the issues in file Check-In / Check-Out funtionlities not properly creating file versions. Now, the funtion maintains respective versions of the Check-In / Check-Out files through the system as expected.
File Area	IC-6345	Fixed issues in functionality for sending emails via ichannel.

File Area	IC-4532	Fixed the issues with displaying Portal Subscribers in the Publish screen. Now respective Portal Subscribers are dispalyed along with security group names. IC-4532.mp4
File Area	IC-6400	Users are allowed to delete caseware files in the system even the respective folder is moved from the backend.
Projects / Workflows	IC-6374	The issue of setting workflows into ‘Private’ mode when updating other fields is fixed. Now the workflow mode remains unchanged, unless it is purposely updated by users.
Projects / Workflows	IC-6132	Fixed the issues with adding contacts of entities to projects. Now all the entities and contacts, which are not bind with a site also searchable and properly dispalyed for adding as primary/secondary contacts to projects.
Projects / Workflows	IC-6010	When a project is completed by checking the ‘Completed’ checkbox, today’s date is considered as the completion date and displayed next to the completed status. When the ‘Completed’ checkbox is unchecked, the completion date is hidden.
Retention Module	IC-6179 IC-5854	Fixed the functionality for “To Be Deleted Documents” search results in retension module. Any documents marked for deletion in the System are displayed when search through the retention module with the flag to be deleted.
iCD	IC-5963	Fixed the issues in sending email notifications, when publishing files. Now all the internal assigned users in the security group receive email notifications accordingly when files are published.
