When accessing a portal site as internal user using the quick search drop down, iChannel will no longer asks to change the password.

Resolved: When a firm users would click the “green arrow” to impersonate the portal and the password change screen prompts.

File Area

Resolved: When firm users would try to create a Tag it would create an error: “Could not find Template" message. This is no longer an issue.

Resolved: When firm users would try to open a submitted file, it would produce an error message. This is no longer an issue.

Resolved: firm users would experience, when working with CaseWare Binders, the files would not upload properly in the clients file area, even when they have apostrophes in the title or when files within them contain apostrophes.

The filter 'Exclude Emails' will now hide all email types.

Resolved: Cannot open scan sheets once they've been created

Removed the 'skipfilecheck' function. This function allowed users to upload a file via drag-and-drop, causing the target folder dropdown to exclusively display file paths associated with entries in the documents table. If a Primary Category lacked files, the corresponding file paths would not be displayed in the target folder dropdown.

Resolved: Previously, when uploading multiple documents using the ‘Copy Permanent Request Files’ link, the user is getting an error. This is no longer an issue.

Resolved: Fixed the error which occurred when trying to accept files from the Requested Files area into the internal file area. Accepting Requested Files would now prompt the Add/Copy/Move screen to appear where the files can be assigned categories and tax years. Once accepted into the internal file area, the files will be removed from the Requested Files area.

Resolved: Category and year is now automatically selected when you drag/drop files over the Year/Category folder without having to select that year/category in the Add Files screen.

Resolved: Previously, background services was not fully unpublishing files when they surpass their publish expiration date. This is no longer an issue and the globe icon in the “Links” column has also been removed.

Resolved: Previously, accessing a file, without actually modifying it, was changing the Last Modified date in the file area instead of the Last User date. This is no longer an issue and now the Last User date is updating.

Resolved: Previously, only two Caseware files could be moved from the MOVE function before it quits working. Now, from the very first time onwards the validation activates saying only one casewear can be moved at a time.

Resolved: Now, when re-categorizing published files, an error message will appear stating “You cannot move or recategorize published or linked documents. Please unpublish/unlink the document before recategorizing / moving when trying to recategorize the published files”.

Resolved: Conarc.iChannel.SiteDelete.exe didn’t work in 4.1.4, it is trying to access the foxpro inbox.dbf which no longer exists and it also can't handle alpha characters in the site code. This is no longer an issue and Conarc.iChannel.SiteDelete.exe is working fine and the relevant site is deleted after the exe is run.

Resolved: Previously, files were automatically versioned when the file title is renamed. Files should never be versioned automatically if “version_docs_on_edit” is turned off for the file. Now, the rename title action is not visible for versioning anymore.

Resolved: Previously an error displayed, when sending quick reply in file discussions. This is no longer an issue.

Resolved: Previously, submitted files are not being removed once the MaxFileAge has been met. This has now been resolved where the submitted file should be removed nightly past the MaxFileAge parameter in appsettings.config.

Routing

Resolved: now Routing pages will load faster into a client’s file area suite.

Make filters, user/group, and dropdown status sticky per User.

Resolved: Fixed a bug that prevented documents using scan sheets from being routed to the proper location.

Resolved: Routing files with notes no longer puts Discussion on File.

Resolved: Previously when the DPP tries to pull in a file and if it’s unable to pull it, then it keeps trying over and over till DPP is restarted with the Service. DPP was getting stuck trying to pull in a file and is basically getting caught in a Loop. This is now resolved and where if the DPP encounters a file it cannot pull, it will skip that file and continue on.

Background Services

Resolved: previously Background Services would crash when accessing locked folders during its clean-up process. This is no longer an issue.

Resolved: Previously when a site is created from a template, the portal security is not being copied and when setting manually, the security settings are not being saved. This prevented the portal users to not be able to access files. This is no longer an issue.

System Module

Resolved: 'Find Sites Matching' dropdown would now show if any site of which the subscriber is a member of, has UDF’s populated on Client Detail screen. Also, when filtering on a UDF, it allows to choose the value of the UDF and show sites that match that value for that UDF.
