Integrations/API

• Identity Verification of e-signatories in the Docusign requests is now available in the DocuSign Interface. This will ensure the intended person has signed the requested document. By navigating to File History of a File, the identity of the user who completed/declined the Docusign E-sign request can be verified.

• Docusign API authentication is now changed to support Auth2.0.

General

• With the release of v3.2.2, the File search will get following improvements.

  • A new Content Search button in the File Search function(Image 1)

  • PDF Export for Search Results

  • New filters to filter the search results

• For file names, the following characters are now considered as valid.

  • Caret sign (^)

  • Semicolon sign (;)

  • Dollar sign ($)

The above change is currently applicable for following functions.

• Adding files from the autosweep windows service

• Adding a new pdf with merge PDF

• Upload documents directly to the file area

• Rename file title and file name through document properties

• Previously illegal characters in the file names were replaced by #. From iChannel v3.2.2 onwards, a preferred character out of three characters given below can be configured in AppSetting.config file to replace such illegal characters.

• A hyphen (-) will be placed as a separator symbol between the components in the file name, instead of an underscore (_).

• Portal URL can be edited/updated via the iChannel application per root site. This will be handled by the support team as needed.

Portal

• The filters in the Requested Files grid and Submitted Files grid in the Portal will be shown with a ‘tick', when selected. (Users are still required to click on 'Apply Filter’ button to filter the grids by the selected filters)

• To further ensure the security of the portal user session, the HttpOnly attribute is now set for any session cookie.

Dashboard

• A few performance improvements were made to the My Tasks Widget in the Dashboard to lessen the loading time.

Retention Module

• The home button in the Retention module will be renamed as Dashboard and Delete button will get hover text so that you can easily understand their functionality.

Routing Module

• The records in the Routing grid can now be scrolled down same as this has a infinity scroll enhancements. Please watch the video.

• The filters placed in the Left side of the Routing page view are now sticky to the user. Please watch the Video 1.

• Further, the sorting by column headers in Routing grid will not be sticky to the user and by default, the grid will be sorted by Created column field in the Descending order. Please watch the Video 2.

General

• More VFP code is removed from iChannel application.

CRM

•  A new executable program is now introduced which can delete a Site. This is only available to admins who have access to the Ichannel Server. Here is a quick video on how to use the new tool. How to use the Site Delete Application (screencast-o-matic.com)

Request Module

• The order of headers in the Request Module grid and the Requested Files grid in the Portal will now be the same to ensure the consistency across iChannel system.

Integrations/API

• The users will be able to to select a file from the File Area in a Site, which has already been sent for eSignature and cancel it in iChannel without logging into DocuSign.

• When selecting a contact to a DocuSign request, now you can type an external email into the External Emails field(Image 1). A pop will ask you for confirmation(Image 2). After confirming that email will get added to the list of contacts that will get the DocuSign esign request.

• Introduced new app setting key “DocuSignAllowExternalEmails“ to appSettings.config file so as to on/off this new field. Default value of the “DocuSignAllowExternalEmails“= “true“(Image 3) which will show the field.

Reports

• A few enhancements to improve the functionality in the WorkflowControlSheet report is released with v3.2.2. This report can be accessed through the Report button on a Project Detail page.

General

• The session time-out error in the search results page when searching files from the File Search function is now fixed. Please watch the video.

• A bug related to 2 Factor Authentication during Portal login is fixed with this iChannel release. Please watch the video.

File Area

• A bug on Autosweep and Manuelsweep functions which did not bring the Caseware files to File Area of the relevant Site is fixed.

• An exception error occurred in DTSearch and Document Indexer is now handled. The Document indexer also runs successfully without any error.

•  A bug in Content Search of the File Area is now fixed with this iChannel release.

Portal

• When you select a file in the File Area of a Site, and click on the Request Files via Portal action under gear icon, you will be navigated to the Activity page. With this fix, Requests can only be added if the selected Type is Request(Image 1). For all other activity types, the Requests cannot be added(Image 2), thus other activities will not show in the Portal.

Routing Module

• In Manual Routing, you can now search for a site that has an apostrophe in the name.

• A bug where the DPP service was picking up all the files is now fixed. It will pickup only the files defined in SQL Sweeptypes table.
